Licensees providing Legal Advice?!

Recently, Real Estate Attorney Douglas White of Hoge, Fenton Jones &
Appel, Inc. was also a co-presenter at our Second Saturday real estate
forum.

During the July forum, “The Most Costly Mistakes Made by Buyers, Sellers,
& Agents & How to Avoid Them,” he mentioned the problem of “licensees
practicing law without a law degree.”

I felt then as I do know, what a great topic for our consumer-protection
real estate series and what a great opportunity to showcase the knowledge
of this very able real estate attorney.
