It  is a satirical poke at the Realtors (individually) who called for tougher mortgage licensing laws.  It was a further poke at the ethical dilemma presented by  dual function licensees that individual Realtors criticize.

I merely said that if the issue were strong enough, CAR had the power to change it.

...and that is not flawed thinking.  IF the issues were truly serious, CAR would have addressed them already.</description>
