The 5,330,000 existing U.S. Single-Family Home sales in October 2009 represented an increase from 4,390,000 sales in October of 2008. These sales indicate a median price of $173,100, which was down from 6.8% in October of 2008.
The 562,400 existing California Single-Family Home sales in October 2009 represented an increase from 483,400 sales in October of 2008. These sales indicate a median price of $297,500, a 3.2% decrease from $307,210 in October 2008.
The 1,026 existing Santa Clara County Single-Family Homes sales in October 2009 represented an increase from 893 sales in October of 2008. These sales indicate a median price of $593,250, which was up from $550,000 in October of 2008.
