I went to Serra School and remembered when the park was being built. Recess was always very exciting cause we would stand in the play-yard and watch the park construction. My CampFire Girls meetings were held in the recreation room. At one time my grandparents lived in the apartments across the street....so I had the best of both worlds....endless supply of candy AND Serra Park!! I also remember falling into the creek just about every 3rd time I would go to the park. Agree with Dave--too bad the boat was torn apart.....running around on that was TOO MUCH FUN!!!
