As a graphic designer for nearly thirty years, my creative vision has centered on conceptualizing, designing, and laying out beautiful printed pieces that convey information, provoke thought and create a reaction. Today, I incorporate many of the same principles of balance, focus and harmony while creating one-of-a-kind fused glass artwork and lighting, functional and decorative serving pieces, smile-inducing garden art and dazzling jewelry.

I play with glass because I love color and every aspect of transforming large sheets of colored glass into works of art that tempt you to reach out and touch them.

As a native of Sonoma County, I’m surrounded by inspiration: shadows, shapes, textures and color combinations in my garden draw me to themes found in nature.

Cutting glass is like a ritual; it’s relaxing and invigorating all at once. Careful cutting allows each piece to fit nicely, resulting in a higher quality product. You won’t see me tossing random scraps and allowing them to fall where they may! I carefully consider every piece of glass I place—something I call intentional design. Juicy colors, off-beat arrangements, sensuous curves and clean, aesthetic layouts define my approach. I strive to incorporate whimsical details that break the so-called rules of color and design.

My work has been described as fresh, modern, elegant and even happy. I like to imagine that every piece I make is infused with the joy and energy I experience during its creation.
